BirdieBall's British Open Contest!

Since signing on with Twitter a few years back, we have had a tradition of giving away a 4' x 14' indoor portable putting green at the conclusion of each of golf's four majors. This Open Championship will be no different.

So, follow us on Twitter and have a chance at an indoor putting green valued at $200.  No catch.  No purchase required of any kind.   We do ask that you retweet the announcement you are responding to and include the #birdieball so that we can track the results at the end of the tournament.   The hashtag birdieball allows us to search the answers as opposed to writing them down as they come in.

We used to ask for the top three golfers, the winner and two runners up.   This became to difficult to administrate.  So, we now ask for the winning golfer and the total number of strokes is the tie-breaker.  So as an example you would re-tweet our post and respond.... Rory McIlroy, 269, #birdieball.  Simple as that.   So look for our posts coming soon.  If you can't wait or do not see our posts, simply tweet your prediction.  We will find you when searching the #birdieball hashtag.  Oh yes, in case of a tie with the tie-breaker, the second tie-breaker is the first one to post the correct golfer and total strokes.  In our last contest, The US Open we had a perfect guess with no other duplicate, but I think this contest may come down to the second tie-breaker.   So, get in sooner than later!!

So good luck!  The British Open / Open Championship  is at the home of golf St. Andrews in Scotland, July 12th -19th.  Guaranteed two winners.   The winner of the golf tournament and the winner of the BirdieBall Putting Green, the worlds finest and truest putting surface.

How to enter:  Re-Tweet, or Tweet @birdieballusa, pick golfer, total strokes and include the #birdieball hashtag. Enter just once and Good Luck!  First right answer in wins in the event of a tie.

P.S. Yes there will be a winner. In the event nobody picks the right golfer to win, we will pick the golfer(s) who finished next highest and then go to the tie-breaker(s).
