Meet the Breakers

• John Breaker

  President, Innovator and Customer Focus Leader

  Born and raised in Colorado, John is a family man and golf fanatic. At his very core, he is a problem solver; and a genius one at that. He leads the BirdieBall team with humor and an entrepreneurial spirit, never far from where the production takes place. He has a wonderful wife and 4 kids that all work for the company in some fashion (as you’ll see below), and he couldn’t be happier he gets to work with his family every day. If he’s not at the office or the golf course, you can find John playing basketball with his son or riding his bike up the mountain.

• Sara Breaker

  Accounting and Keeper of Us All

  Sara met John while they were students at the University of Colorado at Boulder, after growing up in Northern California. They have been together ever since, and successfully started a family of employees for their future golf business (just kidding, but not really). Sara’s family is everything to her, and she does a courageous job of keeping everyone in line. She is extremely competitive by nature, and loves to play games with the family, as well as cheer her Broncos and Avalanche on.

• Amy Breaker

  Director of Operations and Customer Service

  The middle daughter, Amy has been working with BirdieBall since day 1. With a knack for observation and an attention to detail, she has been with John all along the way. Amy graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007, worked as a pre-school teacher for a few years and BirdieBall on the side, and then came back to BirdieBall full time to work with the family. She now moonlights as a yoga instructor. If she’s not at the office or in the yoga studio, you can find her on a patio somewhere in Denver soaking up the sun.

• Katie Breaker

  Director of Sales and Customer Service

  Katie is the youngest of the three sisters and recently went from coming in to the office whenever she could spare a moment to joining the team full time. She has a passion for teeth (yep, teeth), and was about to go to dental school. As we know, business is about supply and demand, and there was a demand for another Breaker in the office. The stars aligned and Kate was able to step in. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011, and enjoys hitting the links with John. When she’s not in the office or playing golf, you can find Katie at yoga or a local happy hour. (Life is about balance)

• Elizabeth Breaker Courtney

  Customer Service and New Mommy

  Elizabeth (Liz) is the oldest daughter, and first to lose the coveted last name “Breaker.” She is recently a wife and even more recently a mama. Liz comes into the office with the baby when extra help is needed, especially in the busy seasons. Liz is a die-hard Broncos fan, and in general loves to be around people. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver and enjoys 4-wheeling and going to the mountains with her little family.

• Ellie Courtney

  Cutest Baby and Entertainment

  Ellie is the newest member of the BirdieBall Tribe. She hasn’t learned how to swing a golf club just yet, but we know she will rock it. She enjoys hanging with her awesome family, and thinks it’s embarrassing how obsessed everyone is with her. She’s wicked cute, and she knows it. When Ellie is in the room, it’s all eyes on her. Our little BirdieBall princess.

• Jack Breaker

  Production and A+ Student

  After three girls, John finally got his boy. The youngest of the four kids, Jack happens to be the funniest. He is currently a student at the University of Colorado at Denver, and studying sports management. Jack works on the production side of the business, keeping inventory stocked and putting greens rolling. He loves cheering for all of his Denver sport’s teams, and has a particular fondness for the Denver Nuggets. He’s also the resident hip-hop connoisseur, keeping us all young and fresh.
