Rules of Play for BirdieBall Open Championship Contest. #birdieballbritish

The Open Championship means it is time for our 5th annual BirdieBall Open Championship contest.

This year, we have our best prize yet. A large 4' x 14,' six cup (three cups and flags on each end), pro speed, indoor putting green and a putting mirror a $250 value.

You will pick the winner plus the total number of birdies he will have during his tournament. For clarification, if there is a playoff those birdies will count as well.

To qualify for the prize you must pick the winner, RT, Re-Tweet the post and include #birdieballbritish in you answer so that we can find you when we go to compile the results. I have to repeat that the #birdieballbritish hashtag is vital to being in the competition as is the re-tweet of my post.  Without this hashtag, we will not be able to find your pick at the end of the tournament.

There will be one a winner, but just one winner. So in the event that someone picks the same golfer with the same number of birdies, the first entry in wins.

IN THE EVENT NO ONE PICKS THE WINNER, WE GO TO SECOND PLACE AND SO ON. SOMEONE WILL WIN!

So, if you like Rory McIlroy, enter: Rory McIIlroy, 21 Birdies, #birdieballbritish and retweet the tweet you responded too.

Speaking of Rory McIlroy. Here is a special treat. This facebook video resides on his facebook page, where he putts on the same BirdieBall putting green you are trying to win.

Rory on FaceBook in below video. No endorsement implied.

So, those are the rules. Easy enough. So, get picking and start thinking about where you are going to put your giant BirdieBall Indoor Putting Mat.

Folks familiar with BirdieBall know that we do this contest for all four majors every year.   Is it worth it to enter?  Just ask J.P. Nolen our US Open Contest winner.   Here is what he has to say and then some photos of his new green in his house.  With no entry fee it is the no brainer of your golf life.  So have fun and make sure you enter early so that you have the third tie-breaker if needed.
